Does zone alarm protect from hackers and malicious sites?

it depends if there is a virus or spyware u downloaded. zone alarm just warn you that the site is dangerous.

Zone Alarm is used like McAfee SiteAdvisor, it (give you a warning about a site only) it is not used for protections against viruses , spyware, or hackers.If you download something from a site that zone alarm gave you a warning about then you are taking a big chance of opening up the door to get spyware, adware, malware, and some viruses. So if zone alarm gives you a warning about any site, it is best to stay out of there. (for your computer sake)
