Is the back up battery dead or almost? You might check that first.

one of your zone detectors may be faulty, the system knows all are there but one may have quit working.

    To silence the alarm:
ARM AND DISARM OR PRESS *

To find out what the trouble is
PRESS * then 2. A number will appear in the display.
1 means service may be required.
2 means Loss of Electrical Power.
    3 means Telephone Line Fault.
    4 means Failure to Communicate.
5 means Wireless Sensor or Zone Fault
6 means Wireless Sensor or Zone Tamper
7 means Wireless Sensor or Zone Low Battery (Service required)
8 means Loss of Time & Date - Needs to be reset

It doesn’t matter what your keypad is, it matter what type of panel you have. I wish you stated here becuase the company I work for solely deals with DSC.

The most common way to silence a keypad with a DSC panel is to press the # sign.

But there could be many reason why that trouble light is on. Could be something simple like loss of time or a low battery or could be something more serious like a communication problem. Again I wish you stated your panel type I could have been alot more helpful. With most DSC panels pressing * (star) then “2″ it will show you the trouble. Do you have a message screen on your keypad or is it only lights? By pressing *2 it should show you your trouble condition, depending on your system and keypad it may only show you a # or light up a #. In which case you will have to speak with your monitoring station or consult your user manual for more specification. Or you could just e-mail me and I’d be able to help. If you don’t have your user manual you can go to. They have every manual online in PDF format.
