What do I need to safeguard my computer?

I have Ad-Aware, the C-Cleaner and AVG-free. Do I need the alarm and Spybot in the area? Are any of these programs duplicate? What else do I need on my computer?

   You need:
   * An antivirus (AVG)
   *A firewall (windows firewall)
   Ad-Aware and Spybot are 2 good anti - spyware, I’d use both of them.

   HI,
   Zonealarm is an outstanjding firewall and is a must. It will control all programs for you and alert you when another comp is trying to gain access to your comp.
   Ad-aware and Spybot are both good programs and can be run simultaneously on your machine. The more the merrier.
   Fortunately, you are running only 1 Antivirus program. More than 1 will result in the two programs clashing and possibly freezing your comp.
   So, get Zonealarm and Spybot by all means.
   Caution with Ccleaner. I recommend you do not change the defualt settings for the cleaning operation or your registry could suffer severly.
