How can I reset my Zone Alarm so that I can access the Internet?
mamanancy asked:
I have had this problem for months and just haven 't had time to play with him to fix it. Can not save my alarm up because the area will not be connected. I have to always turn off and I don 't like this because then my PC is unprotected. Suggestions satisfied.

A few months ago Microsoft patched a critical security flaw in the domain name server service, critical to the functionality of the internet (a flaw would allow someone to impersonate bankofamerica.com, for example).
That broke ZoneAlarm, but it’s been fixed for a while now. Try getting the latest version:
Hope this helps!

You can decrease the security level of your ZoneAlarm to a minimal configuration.
The security level option can be accessed through your tray icon.

You will have an icon in your taskbar next to your windows clock
Right click on it and check that you did not select
stop all internet activity
or
engage internet lock
