I use zonealarm and dont have the problems you mention, It never kicks me of forums! What I like about it most is that it tells me when a programm is trying to access the internet and I get to say ok or not.

Ha! i had the same problem with zonealarm having to turn it off when trying to download stuff etc. However i have resolved this with a click of a button.
Heres how…
Go to Zonealarm
See list on left hand side Overview , Firewall etc.
Go down to Privacy Click on it.
Go to Mobile control.
Click the off button.
Then download your program that you were trying to download & now it will download.
Then put it back on.
Easy when you know how.
Cheers

I use Norton 360, although people say this is good I did get hacked somehow, I was playing a game and I was being bagged so I bagged this guy and he said ‘Want me to hack your pc?’ and i’m like yea whatever asshole. He then said all this stuff i posted on a forum a few days ago. He quoted all this writing that i typed myself a few days ago on a forum i joined. How did he get through my firewall or was it some trick he did? Wasn’t my norton 360 good enough?

Uh, it’s either the DownloadHelper or the WOT green/yellow/red circle thing. DownLoadHelper is discussed in one of my other videos, and the WOT thing is simply to show me how trustworthy a website is based on validations by other users.

Yeah, it does, just as I get over it my stupid step dad brings his disease-ridden kid over to so I’ll probably get it again lol.

Comodo firewall pro and I agree with you kaspersky, is really good.
November 18th, 2009 at 6:34 pm
I have kaspersky. But I don’t have a firewall. I just use windows firewall. Kaspersky is a good anti virus program. It finds more stuff than AVG. I had Norton once. Waste of money. It uses alot of resources. And it didn’t catch the virus that corrupted my files like windows picture and fax viewer and the desktop properties.

The accept and deny thing is also used in comodo firewall or someting like that. and u got kicked off because the cookie stored in your cookies folder in windows was blocked by zone alarm, thats why you get your internet connection not to work. also AVG Free is a very good firewall / anti-virus protection, but make sure that when you upgrade to windows Service pack 1 or 2 you may get your key deleted, so keep a caution for that.
