Your system already has a firewall, so all you really need is a AV
AVG or avast!…. They are free for home users!!!

A good one that i have not had alot of complaints about is Trend Micros “Pc-cillin” and you know the basic McAfee works well.

AVG Anti virus and McAfee virus scan are supposed to help a lot.check out for more details.

I vote for Kaspersky Internet Security coz of its reputation, effectiveness, functionality, ease of use, and industry’s leading AV machine.
Please let me share some advice~
I believe Internet security software is consisted of a firewall, an antivirus, and several other functions. Personally, it can be less troublesome for some users since they only have to download or buy a piece of software from only one specific company but that isn’t always the case. For eq, Norton firewall might be good but its AV mach somewhat slows down your system n the update usually takes a long time. So my recommendation is that you go buy Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 7 and download these completely free products fr the net: Comodo Pro Firewall 3, Spyware Terminator/Spyware Blaster/Spybot. Give them all a try to see which really works in your view. I believe saving a few bucks isn’t a bad thing at all, especially when being commercial doesnt mean a software is good.
