Most "all-purpose" anti-malware products such as AVG, Norton, Spybot S &amp; D, etc. cannot remove or even detect Vundo, as you may have found out.

VundoFix.exe has become the standard removal tool for Vundo / Virtumondo.

VundoFix.exe is a free removal tool developed to remove Virtumonde infections. To use the tool follow the instrctions on the web-site:

		<description>If there is a program [whatever it may be] you are not able to unstall.. reboot your computer in safe mode and delete its folder from Program Files.. Just keep your eyes open on what you are deleting and if some other applications are dependent on this one.

Making a restore point before doing these kind of things is always are good idea!</description>
