How do I find out what is locking my hosts file?

My hosts file is locked, and I think it 'virus SA Nothing that I have it locked up (alarm ad-aware, spybot's, hostsman in the area). My antivirus, etc.. Hasn 't proved anything, and did a HouseCall and it shows that two viruses could not? an be removed automatically. There are shareware or similar looking back qu? est programs? n have access to the hosts file?

    try Microsoft one care live.go to there site and run it.hope it helps you out.
