wow one time i got the nastiest virus ever my desktop even changed black and had the WARNING! your computer is infected on the bottom right corner then i got a message saying Windows will now download a good antivirus/antispyware program, it downloaded bravesentry onto my computer good thing i know how to handle viruses, do a system sweep and re-install ur windows xp or w/e u have back onto your computer, always works for me even when i had a virus that cut out my internet so norton wouldnt work

I use IE, but wen the thing opened itself, it said it needed an active x control. Strangely, it didnt install itself, and i was able to close the program. It never appeared again, and I got no false warnings.

If you use Firefox, then if you close it you’re safe. But if you use Internet Explorer…

I had a trojan called Entry.dll which is a MediaPipe malware.

have you ever seen this spam for fake antivirus:
“If you’re computer is running slower than usual, you may be infected with malware. Click here to download(fake antivirus)”
I just close that, so am i safe from it.

that defienetly seems like malware. just download avg anti spyware and use it to scan. also use a virus scanner like avg. you can also try a clean install if all else fails.

hay doc800 what can u tell me about superantispyware, and other thing my old com had this messages that my com might be hajacked ore something i am a noob for this i just ignore it and after like 1 mounth of use my pc was so slow that i caudnt use it at ell so i just went out and buy a new 1 do u think this comeputer was infected by malware ore something there were popups that were telling me tu buy software to remove it i just ignore it do u think i can save it sry for bad english.

Is it ok to have avast, AVG, Norton, Spybot search and destroy, spyware blaster and ad aware or will it not detect anything?

its ok, but there are better programs. you can try avg, avira, bitdefender or continue using avast (all are free)
